Although we've seen some pretty awesome pinball on the iPhone already, Gameprom's new Wild West Pinball boasts a full 3D table with 40 frames per second. Sounds wizard, eh?
What a good pinball table needs (and we're talking about actual pinball tables, as well as virtual ones) is a good theme. It might not seem massively important on the surface, but those lights need to blaze in a suitable sequence, and that's where the table style comes in.
And Russian developer Gameprom has chosen wisely. Wild West Pinball recreates the pioneering, gun slingin' frontiers with a fully 3D cowboy themed table, and it looks pretty spectacular. Super smooth graphics and noticeably slick camera following of the ball, which allows for a nice big table without your field of vision feeling obscured.
It's just gone live on the App Store and is generating some hot interest, so hit the App Store button below and go get those flippers working. Cue the music (you know the song).
